520th Street Pavement Rehabilitation

CLIENT: JOHNSON COUNTY

Project Description: Anderson Bogert was selected to perform full design services for this four mile section of county highway from Utah Avenue to the Muscatine County line, in southeast Johnson County. The project involved PCC Paving (white-topping), shoulder widening, grading, and culvert replacement. Two intersections were also reconstructed as part of the project. Anderson Bogert performed all field-survey work and design according 3R guidelines per the Iowa DOT Instructional Memorandums. Construction of the first mile, from Utah Avenue to Wapsi Avenue, was completed in 2012. The remaining three miles were completed in 2013.
