Celebrating 25 Years of Service – Jayne DeCoste
Anderson Bogert is honored to recognize 25 years of service by team member, Jayne DeCoste, P.E. We celebrated her anniversary with a huge banner, crystal clock, a variety of cupcakes, and even her own specially-designed street sign.
Ms. DeCoste is an intricate part of the team and has worked on a variety of civil engineering projects over the last 25 years. Some highlights include:
- Over 30 projects at the Muscatine Municipal Airport with the most significant being paving of the crosswind runway and repaving the main runway
- Airport Layout Plans for Muscatine, Centerville, Bloomfield, and Marion
- Several residential housing developments in Cedar Rapids, Marion, Lisbon, and Atkins
- Iowa DOT funded roadway improvement projects in Vinton, Belle Plaine, Maquoketa, and Benton County
- Storm sewer design for Wright Brothers Boulevard from 6th Street to the Eastern Iowa Airport
- Countless sanitary sewer improvement projects in Cedar Rapids
- Morgan Creek Lift Station Improvements in Cedar Rapids
- University of Iowa Melrose Avenue Parking Lot
- City of Cedar Rapids roadway projects: Williams Boulevard from 8th Avenue to 16th Avenue, Czech Village Streetscape Improvements, and Edgewood Road Loop Ramp at Highway 30.
- Johnson County roadway projects: Highway 965 Roadway Rehabilitation and 120th Street Improvements, Prairie Du Chien Road Improvements, and Oakdale Boulevard Extension to Dubuque Street.
- Levee Land Acquisition project for the City of Muscatine
When Ms. DeCoste started with Anderson Bogert, there were about seven other staff members. Today, the firm is comprised of 22 staff. There have been many changes over the years, but Ms. DeCoste’s dedication has remained constant. We thank her for her continued service.
